About Naomi

Naomi Waxman is a reporter at Eater Chicago and graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.

The Milwaukee Press Club awarded her special report, "Teetering on the brink: Barriers to reproductive health care access," the 2018 bronze prize for Best Online Hard News Feature.

The Wisconsin Policy Forum selected Waxman for the 2016-17 Public Policy Reporting Fellowship with the Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service. She also completed a year of service as a 2011-12 New York service corps member with AVODAH: the Jewish Service Corps, and worked as a paralegal in the Family & Matrimonial Law Unit of the New York Legal Assistance Group. She is an undergraduate alumna of Lawrence University, earned a Master of Arts degree at Marquette University’s Diederich College of Communication, and a Master of Science in Journalism degree at Northwestern University’s Medill Graduate School of Journalism.
